With ARC Raiders Flashpoint update, Vaporizer has become one of the biggest enemies for players. The latest weekly trials also bring the task of defeating Vaporizer.
IGGM has conducted extensive testing and summarized different methods for killing Vaporizer in ARC Raiders, as well as the most resource-efficient and stable strategy, and found many practical tips that can significantly reduce the difficulty. Let’s discuss them in detail below.
Wolfpack
If you’re aiming for the fastest kill efficiency, Wolfpack is the most direct choice. The only thing to note is that throwing Wolfpack directly will cause Vaporizer to immediately activate its shield. You can throw other things first to bait out the shield, and after the shield enters its short cooldown, use Wolfpack to kill it directly. Moreover, you don’t need to throw the item directly at Vaporizer; just being close to its range is enough to trigger its shield mechanism.
If you haven’t crafted Wolfpack yet, you need to obtain its blueprint first. If you don’t want to spend so much effort searching for blueprints, you can directly buy coins, items and boosting full carry services from IGGM. It’s highly regarded in best ARC Raiders blueprints trading market for its cheap prices, secure transactions, and lightning-fast delivery services.

By the way, the best item for baiting shields is Crude Explosives, which only requires six Chemicals to craft, making it very cost-effective. Many players consider the cheaper Light Impact Grenade, but its stack limit is only five, while Crude Explosives can be stacked up to ten in just one inventory slot.
The fastest method is to throw a Crude Explosives, wait for the shield to disappear, and then throw a Wolfpack for a quick kill.
However, this method is resource-intensive, and not all players have many Wolfpacks, so other methods can be tried.
Hornet Driver
Theoretically, Hornet Driver can shoot down a Vaporizer, but it requires very specific conditions and is quite difficult. Even if you successfully hit it, you can only knock it to the ground. You need to get close to it in a very short time and attack its core with Jupiter to destroy it. If you fail to deal enough damage in time, Vaporizer will take off again, throwing the player off and causing fatal damage.
Using Hornet Driver requires maintaining a distance of within 30 meters and accurately hitting the thruster. Getting too close will be negated by the shield. Combined with Vaporizer’s extremely high movement speed, the actual operation is very difficult, making it only suitable for fun and not for consistent farming. Furthermore, Jupiter can instantly kill Vaporizer’s core after it lands, but this is impossible in the air.
It’s worth mentioning that you can also bring Photoelectric Cloak. This is an essential item for dealing with Vaporizers. Multiple Vaporizers, along with Rocketeers, Fireflies, Hornets, and other enemies, may spawn simultaneously on the map. Photoelectric Cloak is the only safe way to escape.
Of course, you can also equip other ARC Raiders items to maximize your survivability.
How to defeat them without consuming a lot of resources?
There are two main stable playstyles that don’t rely on a lot of consumables. One uses high-damage single-shot weapons, with Jupiter being the first choice. When resources are limited, Renegade, Ferro, or Anvil can also be used, but their efficiency will be significantly reduced. The other uses high-rate-of-fire weapons. These weapons are less likely to trigger Vaporizer’s shield and are better suited for sustained suppression compared to high-burst weapons.
High-Damage Single-Shot Weapons
The first playstyle requires cover from buildings. Aim at the exposed core at the bottom of Vaporizer to deal high damage. After each attack, it will activate its shield, requiring you to wait for it to disappear before attacking again.
Furthermore, attempting to destroy the thrusters is extremely inefficient. Vaporizer has eight thrusters, and you need to destroy four of the rear ones before it crashes. Its unpredictable flight path also consumes a lot of ammunition, making it far less stable and efficient than directly attacking the core.
High-Rate-of-Fire Weapons
The second playstyle also targets the exposed core. Because the single-shot damage is lower, the shield won’t trigger frequently, but Vaporizer will attack more often. At this point, you can use Crude Explosives to bait out its shield and disrupt its attack rhythm, and then use Photoelectric Cloak to avoid being instantly killed by its laser.
The stabilizers on both sides of Vaporizer can also be destroyed. Although the exact effect is still unclear, in practice it seems to slightly reduce its mobility. Prioritize destroying them if possible. During combat, other players will usually attack Vaporizer together; you can use them to draw fire while you find a safe angle to attack.
Of course, if you possess the corresponding ARC Raiders blueprints, crafting and utilizing Epic-tier weapons will undoubtedly significantly accelerate your kill rate. For instance, Bettina is an excellent, but consumes ammo quickly. Tempest, Renegade, and Osprey are also good choices. The core strategy remains to aim for the most accurate attacks on the core parts.
These are the different methods for destroying ARC Raiders Vaporizer shared by IGGM. This is a great opportunity to quickly obtain loot. Vaporizer is waiting to be killed in the game!
